A Dimpah OER

A Performing Arts OER

The Open Education Resource (OER) you are currently exploring covers Performing Arts and Cultures. Among the digital methods introduced as part of Dimpah (see below), the analysis of Performing Arts includes special techniques for humanities scholars to consider. First, the course e-spectator has its base in recent scientific works in Performing Arts and Cultures in order to pay interest in the specificities of the performative artistic and cultural disciplines or practices. Secondly, by taking the side that the digital environment allows us to understand better than in the past the scope of the Performative Arts, this OER aims to deeply study those disciplines or practices with digital methods and/or digital supports.

What is DiMPAH?

The Digital Methods Platform for Arts and Humanities (DiMPAH) is a co-funded project by Erasmus+. DiMPAH's purpose is to provide a collection of Open Education Resources for digital methods for the arts and humanities, applying them to interdisciplinary contexts to promote novel creative learning experiences based on taking data from the past and turning them into future stories.

These methods include augmented reality, text analysis, netnography and many more. To learn more about DiMPAH, visit: https://lnu.se/en/research/searchresearch/research-projects/project-digital-methods-platform-for-arts-and-humanities/
